 Konami Digital Entertainment Co., Ltd. announces that "WBSC eBASEBALL PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU" has been selected as the competition title for the "Olympic eSports Series 2023" sponsored by the International Olympic Committee (IOC).

The “Olympic eSports Series 2023” is a virtual sports world competition held by the IOC in cooperation with international federations and game publishers. This year's tournament will feature 9 sports, and in baseball, "WBSC eBASEBALL PAWAFURU PUROYAKYU" will be used to compete for the world's best.

Preliminaries for each event will start in March, and the finals will be held from June 22nd (Thursday) to 25th (Sunday) at the Suntec Center in Singapore as a highlight of the 1st Olympic eSports Week. .
